Literature Text

I was victorious against the villains, but time was running out for the Empress.  I went back in front of the palace and kneeled before her, and the ceremony continued.

Trina spoke, “Andrew DeSoto, you have certainly earned your place here.  Thanks to you, all of imagination will remain intact and stable.  By the power vested in me by the existence of imagination itself, I crown you…Emperor Andrew, leader of the ImagineZone Empire!”  She finished her statement and I rose to my feet.  Then, to my surprise, She bowed to Me!  All of the other citizens followed.  I was so happy.  I was really the one in charge of everything I like.  They all rose and cheered and applauded me.  “Thank you!  Thank you all!”, I shouted.  “But, before we start admiring me, I think Trina here deserves the right kind of goodbye.  Who’s with me?”  They all cheered in approval.  Trina was almost fully gone now, but she could still be seen and heard.  She seemed touched by my decision.  “Goodbye, everyone”, she said.  “I know I’ve left you in good hands.  I trust Andrew will make sure our land will prosper”.  I replied, “I promise, Trina.  This land of imagination will be better than it’s ever been before”  Trina smiled, silently assuring me she knew I was right.  With the citizens waving and saying goodbye, Trina completely vanished and became a light going towards the heavens.  Her time had finished.

The palace’s captain of the guards then approached me.  “Your Highness, what now?”, he asked me.  I thought, and I said, “Well, for starters, let’s fix this place up!  No point in me ruling a place that’s dull and in shambles”.  By this point, I knew exactly what to do.  I had no more need for guidance or to ask questions.  “I will rebuild the whole land using my own imagination!”, I decided.  The crowd cheered.  I started with the plaza’s southeast section.  I walked to it, and pictured academies, schools, import centers, etc.  When I finished the thought, BOOM! It was real!  I went toward the northwestern portion of the plaza, and thought up hotels, condos, apartments, restaurants, etc.  Then they became real too.  I continued my work throughout the plaza, varying plenty.  Until finally, I got to the palace.  I felt it needed a little redoing.  I stood in front of it, and pictured what I knew would be perfect, the Palace of Theed from Star Wars.  I opened my eyes, and Boom!  Perfect match, though a little originality too.

Everyone was really enjoying what I was doing.  They were already moving in to the new homes, enrolling in the new classes, etc.  I realized I wasn’t done.  I decided to go beyond the plaza’s outskirts.  From there on, I continued my walk of world-recreation.  I imagined the Legend of Zelda universe in one spot, the Power Rangers in another.  Teen Titans here, Mortal Kombat there, DC/Marvel around, and even Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.  Soon, I was done.  ImagineZone was officially my own world made up of my imagination.  So, I returned to my palace to address the masses.

“My children, I hope everything is to your liking”, I announced.  They all cheered approvingly, saying things like ‘if you like it, we like it’ and ‘we are glad to know and live in your style’.  I was very happy, but then I realized something.  I thought, “How am I supposed to get home?”  I summoned my would-be advisors and asked them, “Listen, this is fun and all.  But, am I supposed to stay here forever?  Do I never get to see my family again?”  One of them spoke up, “No, no, no.  Of course not, your Majesty”  Another said, “You’re a human with flesh and blood, whereas everyone and everything here is made true from imagination”  And another said, “You belong on Earth to dwell.  You can come and go as you please”.  I was relieved to hear that.  But then I said, “But, how do I get home?”  They said, “You can just picture your own way home.  Whatever it is, it’ll lead you just right”.  I was like “Oh, right.  Heheh”  So, I decided it was time to go home.  I addressed to my subjects, “Citizens of ImagineZone, I thank you all for accepting me and believing in me.  I’m glad to be your ruler”  They all cheered again.  I continued, “But now, I feel it’s time I went home.  Back to Earth.  But fret not, I will return as it’s my duty to rule here”  They acceptingly cheered and applauded.  I turned around and pictured one of those doors I saw that brought me to ImagineZone, and it appeared.  I opened it, and with a final wave, I went through it.

On the other side, I was home.  Back in my front yard.  I checked the watch I had dropped on the ground earlier.  The time had passed as if I was merely LARPing the whole thing.  But it was real, I knew that for a fact.  I decided to go in the house to rest.  I knew people would think I was crazy if I told of this happening, but I felt it would be weird to just keep this whole thing unspoken of in any way.  So, I decided I would tell people about, but it in the form of my own self-thought up stories.

THE END (for now)
Once again, it's been a long time.  But, I've recently gotten the feeling that I can probably find ways and time to keep these up.

Well, here you have it, the 3rd and last part of the beginning of my ImagineZone story.

There's indeed more to write, this was just the beginning.

Hope you all enjoy.  God bless.  And always remember, Jesus loves you.
